Our Journey so far

Formed in 2024, the Timoth FC Reserve Team plays a vital role in the club’s long-term vision — acting as both a platform for player development and a proving ground for future First Team talent. A blend of former First Team players and a promising new wave of young, hungry footballers, the Reserves bring fresh energy, commitment, and passion to the Timoth badge.

In their inaugural season, the side competed in Division Four East of the Surrey South Eastern Combination League, finishing in a commendable mid-table position. Considering the average age of the squad and the fact that many players were stepping onto the pitch together for the first time, the club was immensely proud of the team’s cohesion, resilience, and growth throughout the season.

The Reserve Team are very much the club’s rising stars — ambitious, determined, and focused on making their mark in the lower divisions of the SSECL. They represent the next generation of Timoth FC and are key to building sustainable success on and off the pitch.

The team is managed by former First Team goalkeeper Omar Baker, whose deep experience within the amateur game makes him the ideal figure to mentor this diverse group. His leadership has already proven instrumental in shaping a competitive squad while nurturing young talent. Supporting him is Graeme Hodge, Club Secretary and Assistant Manager, whose 40+ years of football knowledge — spanning youth to adult levels — provides a steady hand and invaluable insight behind the scenes and on the training ground.

With clear ambitions to climb the SSEC ladder, the Reserves have their sights firmly set on silverware in the near future. Beyond footballing success, the team also serves as a space for growth, camaraderie, and character — helping develop not just skilled players, but well-rounded young men who embody the values of Timoth FC.
