Our Journey so far
Established in 2022, the Timoth FC First Team represents the heart and ambition of our club. Made up of a dynamic blend of youth and experience, our squad brings together players from all backgrounds and age groups. Many of the lads shared the pitch long before pulling on the Timoth shirt — having played together at various levels and clubs — before uniting to form our inaugural First Team.
Our competitive journey began in the Kingston & District Football League, where we made an immediate impact over two seasons. While league glory narrowly eluded us, we found our stride in cup competitions — lifting the League Cup in consecutive seasons. In our debut campaign, a thrilling 2-1 victory over Riverside FC, sealed by a last-minute winner, secured our first-ever silverware. The following season, we successfully defended our crown in dramatic fashion, overcoming Surbiton Warriors in a marathon penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw — with our goalkeeper, now Reserve Team Manager, scoring the decisive penalty.
Following our success in the KDFL, we now compete in Division One of the Surrey South Eastern Combination League. The team is led by First Team Manager and club co-founder Mark Barwis, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from years in Non-League and Surrey football. Assisting him is Jai Warner, a former First Team player whose deep understanding of the SSECL makes him an invaluable asset on the touchline. Completing the management trio is Alfee Burridge, a former goalkeeper with a strong footballing pedigree across multiple steps of the English football pyramid.
As the flagship squad of Timoth FC, the First Team is driven by high aspirations — with the clear aim of reaching Intermediate-level football. United by a unique team spirit and an unwavering commitment to the badge, this group of players is more than just a team — they are the pride and jewel of our club.
